CAN I BOOK A SPECIFIC PITCH?

Your booking secures you a pitch for your requested requirements. We are regrettably unable to promise certain pitches*, and we reserve the right to amend our pitch allocation to optimise availability to allow all our guests to enjoy a holiday with us. However, we appreciate that some of our loyal customers have certain preferences, and we will always try our hardest to honour these where possible.

‘RIVER PITCHES’

For many years now, customers have requested these large, spacious pitches along our ‘river bank’. We’ve not been able to promise them – until now!

We have made a completely separate booking section for these 7 pitches, meaning customers can book this area specifically, subject to availability. You will be informed at booking if there is one available. A specific numbered pitch may be requested, but not guaranteed. The price of these pitches is marginally higher than the others on site, to allow for these requests. Please see the tariff for more information.

River Pitch’s 20 – 26 include:

Large hedged pitches for privacy.

Fresh water drinking tap for the use of that pitch.

Grass Hardstandings are being added along these pitches over the coming years. This creates a firm level base for your vehicle, and prevents skidding or sinking.

Please note the river running along the boundary of the site, is shown for safety reasons, and is not a river suitable for bathing, leisure or fishing. Access into the water is strictly prohibited.

As a final note, and part of the booking terms for these pitches, is that we are at the mercy of the water table, therefore these pitches may not be available in low season. If these pitches are deemed too wet, your booking will be moved to different pitch and your extra fee will be refunded to you.
