So, who’s who?

Here we are: The Dove Meadows Team! We all live on site in one way or another, and we thought you might like to know a little more about the team behind your visit to Dove meadows.

The Floyd Seniors

Gordon and Val

Now due to retire from the business, Gordon and Val originally bought the campsite in 2003. At the time it was a small site with just a few pitches. With a lot of hard work they made it into the business it is today. In 2019 they finished their new home build and took a step back from the campsite, and may even begin to rest one day!

They are still around on site and live close by, so look forward to keeping in touch with the friends they made on site, so not to worry – they are still around for a chat!

Luna the Great Dane, has now joined the Floyd team and has settled in nicely!

 

The Floyd Juniors

Adam, Lily, Toby and Cleo

Adam is Gordon and Val’s son and together with his wife Lily and their little ones Toby and Cleo, they began to take over the reigns of the campsite in 2019 to continue the hard work and dedication put in by Adams parents.

Adam is a school teacher, and Lily is full time mum to Toby and Cleo, whilst managing and overseeing campsite business

Toby mostly enjoys tractors, digging, and hosepipes, Cleo can be found with any animal trying to feed it anything she can!

 

The Wardens

Graham and Claire

Taking the helm! We are very pleased to open the 2025 season with Graham and Claire as our lead wardens.

 Cookie and Millie, along with Graham and Claire, joined us as our assistant wardens in 2023. We were delighted to welcome them to Dove Meadows and they’ve decided they liked it too – so they joined us for real!
