Dove Meadows Covid 19 – Update 25th August 2021
With the Government announcement that all restrictions will soon be lifted in the Uk, we feel we wish to continue all measures we have in place to keep our site and community safe. Face masks and social distancing will become ‘advisory’ but we would like to ‘advise’ that as staff we will continue to socially distance from our guests and wear our masks. The same strict cleaning and sanitisation measures and provisions will remain in place.
Please be mindful while on site that many people may want to continue safety measures, even if you do not wish to, so please be respectful and understanding.
Please also take some time to ensure all members of your party are up to date with government advice and Information.
SAFETY MEASURES ON SITE
Facilities will be open on May 17th, but these are strictly for the use whilst adhering to social distancing and we politely ask customers to wear a face covering where possible for their safety, and that of fellow facility users. If you have facilities on board we politely request that you must use these first, before heading to the areas on site. This measure has been put in place to ensure everyone can come and stay here, and not having to exclude anyone from enjoying their holiday, and in an attempt to reduce contact and possible risk of virus transmission. However the facilities are open for all our customers to use.
The most important aspect is to assess that you are well to travel and be in public areas – if you are not well, please (please!) stay at home.
- LOO’S AND SHOWERS ARE OPEN TO ALL CUSTOMERS, WITH THE ‘HANDS, FACE,SPACE’ ADVICE IN PLACE.
This advice is for ALL customers, regardless of your vaccination status. Testing and vaccinated? We still request you follow guidelines whilst with us on site.
TEST AND TRACE
Test and Trace is no longer a legal obligation, however we are still maintaining a log of all customers and visitors to site. We appreciate your assistance with this.
We are within our rights to deny a customer to enter the site if they are displaying Covid-19 symptoms.
We will be displaying the QR Test and Trace code for use with the NHS Test and Trace app, if customers wish to use it.
If you are concerned that you should not travel, we encourage this decision to prevent the spread of the virus and we would like to do everything we can to facilitate this. Please ask for more details if your travel plans have to change.
If your visit is subject to a legal restriction, you will be contacted by us to regrettably cancel your stay. If a deposit has been paid, a refund or transfer will be offered. A legal restriction is a regional or national lockdown, tier 3 and tier 4. The need to isolate after receiving a positive test or experiencing symptoms of Covid-19, is also classed a a legal requirement, effective from the 28th September 2020 (source gov.uk).
If you are concerned that you cannot travel, and wish to know the government guidance on consumer contracts and your legal rights, please click here.
You can also read our full risk assessment to assure yourself of the measures we are taking to keep you and our staff safe, and the evidence and thought processes behind all decisions.
If you have any concerns or questions about your stay, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call on 01736 710854.
Our very best wishes,
The Dove Meadows Team
